2
Support programs that enable families with young children to thrive
We fund direct services that help families care for their young children and support the capacity of organizations that serve families with young children.
3
Engage in systems change
We support systems-level advocacy and collaboration that strengthens early childhood learning and improves outcomes for young children and their families.
Where we Work

Broward County, Florida
The Henderson family has longstanding roots in Broward County. We partner with nonprofit organizations, agencies, and other funders to strengthen early childhood systems and family supports across the region. We also explore opportunities for deeper, place-based investment in Broward County when it aligns with our mission and strategy.
Vermont
The Foundation has a long-term commitment to Vermont, where some Henderson family members make their home. We support early childhood programs and family-serving organizations across the state in partnership with local and regional organizations.

Approach and flexibility
When appropriate, we seek to provide flexible funding, including general operating and multi-year support to strengthen organizations and increase effectiveness over time.
